Burlingame, Calif.-based Cotchett, Pitre, Simon & McCarthy gave notice that it has filed a lawsuit against AIG in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, on behalf of anyone who purchased securities of AIG between Oct. 1, 1999, and March 30, 2005.
