The author of a Nebraska workers' compensation reform bill said Monday that he was unable to win enough support to pass the measure out of the Legislature's Business and Labor Committee.
Sen. Doug Cunningham, R-Wasau, said in a column published by the Yanktown Press & Dakotan that he amended his LB 1237 to win support from medical providers, but once they were on board the insurance industry dropped its support.
