U.S. Firm Preps S. African Asbestos Case

A U.S. law firm experienced in asbestos-injury litigation is preparing to press a South African case on behalf of exposed workers there. The firm of SimmonsCooper is reportedly in discussion with the Law Society to seek out and represent victims of asbestos exposure in South Africa, a news agency reported this week. Attorney and partner Jeff Cooper said the South African abestos-exposure situation was more severe than what he's seen in this country.
