Reacting to an Ohio Supreme Court decision that overturned a similar law last year, Ohio business groups are backing a bill sponsored by Representative Bob Gibbs, (R- Lakeville) that would deny workers' compensation benefits for workers injured while they were drunk or on drugs. The Ohio chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business believes the Supreme Court decision overturning a law allowing a worker's refusal to take a drug or alcohol test to be seen as the equivalent of a positive test, sends the wrong message.
