The California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board office in downtown Los Angeles closed Monday because of a fire at a nearby building.
The board will reopen today, said Division of Workers' Compensation spokeswoman Susan Gard.
According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, the fire broke out in a two-story structure at 4th Street and Broadway at about 5 a.m. Monday. The fire forced the closure of the northbound 4th Street exit on the 110 Freeway and portions of Broadway and Spring Street, the Times said.
