The Kentucky Office of Workers' Compensation posted a rate of 40 cents per mile for workers' compensation travel, based on fluctuations in the daily price of gas across the state.
The agency said workers' compensation will pay the rate from Jan. 1, 2007, through March 31, 2007, based on rates calculated for state government travel by the American Automobile Association.
The rate was 41 cents from Oct. 1, 2006, through year's end and 43 cents last summer.
