USCA 3rd: Judicial District Immune From Suit

The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit ruled that a Judicial District is state agent entitled to immunity from suit for damages. In Benn v. First Judicial Dist. of Penn., No. 01-3769, 10/12/2005, Donald Benn, a Judicial District probation and parole officer, was injured when he was hit by a car. Benn took a leave of absence for the next eight months for physical injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder.
