A New Mexico workers' compensation judge who was accused of making sexual advances toward an injured worker in a case he was mediating resigned his post, the Albuquerque Journal reported Thursday.
Chris Berkheimer told the newspaper in a copyright story that the accusations are "not true and ridiculous."
He agreed to accept six weeks net pay, or $10,700, to forgo a state personnel hearing and not sue, the Journal reported.
