Uninsured Restaurants Case Settled in S. Diego

A company that ran 62 Pizza Hut restaurants in San Diego County has been ordered to pay nearly $700,000 for business practices that included not carrying workers' compensation insurance. Judge Charles Hayes signed the settlement and ordered franchisee RLLW to pay $695,000, according to a news release by county District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis.
