Justices Won't Review Off-Season TD Decision

The California Supreme Court refused to hear a seasonal agricultural worker's appeal for year-round temporary disability payments. The court on Wednesday denied Eva Ochoa's petition for review of a decision by the 5th District Court of Appeal. That court overturned the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board's decision to continue her temporary disability payments while she was furloughed for the season.
