The California Supreme Court refused to consolidate hundreds of claims for employees of professional staffing firms whose workers' compensation carriers have gone bankrupt.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday denied writ on a petition filed by attorney Mark Bonino, legal counsel for workers' compensation insurer American Home Assurance Co. Bonino's client insured Jacuzzi, which was held liable for an injury claim for a Remedy Temp employee who got hurt working in the shipping and receiving department at Jacuzzi Inc.
