Thousands of Employers Share Millions in Safety Rebates, Performance Bonuses

Thousands of employers in Ohio are receiving close to a total of $8 million in rebate savings and performance bonuses as part of the state's ongoing effort to promote workplace safety and cut the number of injuries. The employers are all members of the state's 83 safety councils, set up to increase safety awareness, said Bureau of Workers' Compensation Administrator Steve Buehrer.
