CIGA Issues RFP for Third-Party Administrators

The California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA), which was accused last year of mismanagement in its use of third-party administrators, has issued a request for proposals from TPAs to administer workers’ compensation claims and provide medical bill-review services.CIGA is seeking TPAs to handle approximately 7,300 claims from three liquidated insurers.
