NYCIRB Announces Class Code Revisions

The New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board (NYCIRB) announced changes to three job classification codes that will take effect on Oct. 1.NYCIRB said it has updated the New York Workers' Compensation and Employer Liability Manual to reflect a revision to Classification Code 8864, which covers developmental organizations. The code was revised to reference institutions for the blind, aged and handicapped persons.
