Division Posts Agenda for May 13-14 Safety Summit in Austin

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation will host the state’s 13th annual workplace safety conference, the Texas Safety Summit, on May 13-14 at the Doubletree Hotel.In recognition of the Texas Safety Summit, Gov. Rick Perry has issued a proclamation naming May as “Occupational Safety and Health Month.” The division reports the Texas Safety Summit is “a learning opportunity for all types of employers, whether or not they subscribe to workers’ compensation insurance.”Advance registration for the conference is $250 per individual if paid by April 30.R...
