ReEmployAbility Named One of the Healthiest Employers in Central Florida
Brandon, FL (September 12th, 2023)- ReEmployAbility has been recognized in the 2023 Healthiest Employers of Central Florida, an awards program created to honor people-first organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employee population. ReEmployAbility's main objective is to aid injured workers by locating nonprofit light-duty opportunities as they recover. Our focus on creating a difference also extends to our workforce, where we prioritize a healthy work environment. ReEmployAbility makes creating a healthy work environment a major focus and is thrilled to come in fourth for its category.
The companies were recognized because of their commitment to workplace wellness and exceptional health benefit offerings. Even with many employers returning to the office or to hybrid schedules, they have had to adapt their workforces to reflect the ever-changing views of the modern American office. Increased flexibility, work-life balance, and mental health resources have proven to be common trends among Healthiest Employers honorees.
Some ReEmployAbility benefits for employees include two (2) paid volunteer days a year, twenty (20) days of PTO that start accruing on the first day of employment, paid paternity/maternity leave, a $500-dollar educational stipend, two (2) floating Holidays, sit/stand desks, flexible hybrid schedules and more. All of these factors were used in the deliberation for the award.
"We are thrilled to receive the 'Healthiest Employer' award, which truly reflects our commitment to providing a workplace that is dedicated to the whole person approach," celebrated Crystal Hundley, ReEmployAbility's Director of HR. "Health and wellness intersect multiple dimensions that we are proud to focus on throughout the year, hoping to inspire employees to set and reach personal goals within any of the wellness dimensions." She continued, "It is an exceptional honor for our organization, and it exemplifies our unwavering dedication to prioritizing the well-being of our employees."
Award applicants were evaluated across six key categories: Culture and Leadership, Foundational Components, Strategic Planning, Communication and Marketing, Programming and Interventions, and Reporting and Analytics. Completed assessments were ranked with the proprietary Healthiest Employers® Index, a 1-100 rubric for wellness programming. The survey is scored and powered by?Springbuk, a health intelligence platform that simplifies data-driven decision-making with an intuitive user experience, predictive modeling, and curated action steps.?
