Code, § 1174); and (8) violation of Business and Professions Code section 17200 (based upon the alleged violations of the Labor Code). The complaint alleges that AVP publishes the Antelope Valley Press, a general circulation newspaper that is distributed under the auspices of AVP. In addition to the daily newspaper AVP publishes, the agreements require carriers to deliver a weekly publication, the Antelope Valley Express.
