Maximum Compensation Rate Released for Injuries After Oct. 1

The Connecticut labor commissioner has set the maximum weekly compensation rate for total disability and decedents’ dependents at $1,292 for injuries occurring after this past Saturday. The rate is tied to the average weekly earnings of all employees in Connecticut. The maximum compensation rate for partial disability benefits pursuant to § 31-308 is equal to the average weekly earnings of production and related workers in manufacturing in Connecticut.
