Division Sets Regional Safety Summit for Waco Feb. 11

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation will present a regional workplace safety workshop in Waco on Feb. 11.The “Brazos Safety Summit” is one of several regional safety summits offered the division in regions around the state.The event will be held at the Region 12 Education Service Center, 2101 W.  Loop 340.  Cost is $125 per individual and includes coffee and snacks.The agency said the motivation for the workshop is “because of the high incidence of nonfatal workplace injuries involving sprains and strains and workplace fatalities resulting from transpo...
