New Standards Proposed for Determining Hospital Charges

The Idaho Industrial Commission is proposing new standards for determining the acceptable workers' compensation charges for hospital services and adopted a 3.2% increase in allowable charges for most service categories covered by its medical fee schedule. Hearings on the proposed hospital fee standards will be held next month in Coeur d' Alene, Boise and Idaho Falls, before being finalized and submitted to the Legislature for approval in November.
