AmGuard Fined $152,000 by Insurance Commissioner

AmGuard Insurance Co. has been fined $152,000 by the Connecticut Insurance Department after the agency found that agents for the company were operating without licenses. The department’s Market Conduct Unit discovered the violations during a routine examination of AmGuard last year, according to a news release from Connecticut Insurance Commissioner Andrew Mais.
