Lien Rep: Decision Allows Interpreters to Collect Under LC 5811

A panel decision issued by the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board late last month clarified that interpreters are entitled to compensation for time spent at trial and at hearings, even in a case where the administrative law judge found that the claimant was not an employee, a lien representative said.The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board's decision in Villegas v.
