The Iowa Division of Workers’ Compensation reported Wednesday that the state insurance commissioner has ordered a $4 million assessment on insurers and self-insured employers to meet the liabilities of the Second Injury Fund.Payments of the assessment amounts are due by Sept. 30, the commission said.
