Florida’s Office of the Judges of Compensation Claims has corrected annual defense-fee payouts, reporting totals that were incorrect by more than $120 million dating back to fiscal year 2002-03 and by some $48 million during the past two years.
Deputy Chief Judge David Langham posted the corrected year-by-year defense fees on his personal blog Wednesday after correcting the erroneous figures resulting from incorrect internal data queries from one of the state's largest third-party administrators.
