A Senate bill that would target workers’ compensation fraud goes before the Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government at 4 p.m. Tuesday, in the 110 Senate Office Building in Tallahassee.
Community Substitute/Senate Bill 1012 would require every workers’ compensation insurer that does business in Florida to designate an in-house anti-fraud unit, report possible fraud by insureds and craft an anti-fraud plan.
