Roofing Contractor Fined $44,880 for Fall Hazards

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a Connecticut roofing contractor for fall hazards in connection with a project in Milford, Conn.OSHA said in a press release inspectors have proposed $44,880 in fines against Amilicar Samper Perez, doing business as Roof Systems of Connecticut, for fall hazards identified during an inspection last November.OSHA said workers were exposed to fall hazards of up to 11 feet while installing a roof on a building on Page Street in Milford.
