The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division announced that the threshold used to determine when employment is casual is increasing on July 1, as is the maximum attorney fee that can be awarded without extraordinary circumstances.
The maximum attorney fee is increasing to $6,358 from $5,974 to align with the 6.427% increase in the state’s average weekly wage.
The average weekly wage in Oregon increased to $1,417.06 from $1,331.48.
