A Louisiana appellate court ruled that a worker who failed to disclose his significant history of medical issues to his employer forfeited his entitlement to benefits after he suffered an on-the-job injury to his elbow. Case: Spillman v. Career Adventures Inc., No. 54,054-WCA, 08/11/2021, published. Facts: Michael Spillman suffered injuries to his left foot in 2007 when a 900-pound metal plate landed on it.
