WCAB: Lisa Sussman Appointed Deputy Commissioner

The California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board on Thursday announced the appointment of Lisa Sussman as a deputy commissioner. The appointment is effective Nov. 1. Sussman has been a part of the WCAB team as a staff workers’ compensation judge serving in the informal mediation program since 2022.  She had served as a workers’ compensation administrative law judge since March 2005.
