Injuries Caused by 3rd-Parties Could be Excluded from Employer X-Mods

Wyoming employers will be able to apply for a determination that a worker's injury was primarily caused by a third party and have the costs of the claim excluded from its experience modification factor starting July 1. House Bill 212, by Rep. Lloyd C. Larson, R-Fremont, directs the Workers' Compensation Division to develop rules and procedures for employers to request a determination on whether a claim should apply toward its experience modification, or X-mod.
