NCCI Revises 2006 Underwriting Results

The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) said this week it has added South Carolina figures to its calendar-year accident results for 2006.The Boca Raton, Fla. rate maker reports the results to reflect premium transactions occurring during a given year, along with loss experience for claims with accident dates beginning on Jan. 1 and ending on Dec. 31 of each year.The results measure the adequacy of premium funds to cover both benefit costs and operating expenses of the benefit system, NCCI said.
