Bill on Mental Injury Presumption Goes Before Subcommittee

The House Government Operations and Technology Appropriations Subcommittee will consider a PTSD presumption bill today. The meeting will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in Morris Hall, in the House Office Building at 402 S. Monroe St., Tallahassee. House Bill 227 would allow first responders to receive workers’ compensation benefits for post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental injuries without accompanying physical injuries.
