Utility Contractor Cited for Lack of Trench Collapse Protection a Sixth Time

A Texas paving and utility contractor has been cited for a sixth time in seven years for putting its workers at risk of trench collapse, one of the most lethal risks in the country. Angel Brothers Enterprises Ltd. was cited after investigators for the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration drove by a worksite in La Porte and saw workers in a trench laying underground sewage lines and adjusting underground utilities.
