The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed $78,000 in penalties against a Brooklyn hospital where employees were exposed to head, eye, face and groin injuries and intimidation and threats during routine interactions with patients and visitors.
OSHA said an inspection on Feb. 10 revealed that Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center failed to protect employees adequately against workplace violence.
