Bill Would Give WC Board More Say Over Providers, Disputes

A bill introduced in the New York Senate makes another stab at revamping the medical bill dispute process and at how medical providers are authorized to treat injured workers. Senate Bill 343, sponsored by Sen. Fred Akshar, R-Binghamton, was pre-filed this week and referred to the Senate Labor Committee.
