A man who pleaded guilty to charges relating to working while he collected a workers’ compensation pension was ordered to pay $339,900 in restitution, the Washington state Department of Labor and Industries announced.
Robert J. Strasbaugh, 67, was working as a delivery driver in 2003 when he injured his knee. A doctor determined that he could not work because of the injury. In 2016, he was found totally and permanently disabled, and after his wage-replacement benefits ended, he started collecting pension payments.
