Bill Would Reduce Interest on Uninsured Employer Penalties, Allow Installment Payments

A bill introduced to the Wyoming Legislature would reduce the interest rate on unpaid penalties against employers that fail to provide workers' compensation coverage, and allow violators to pay penalties in installments. House Bill 84, introduced by Rep. Eric Barlow, R-Gillette, would reduce the interest rate on unpaid penalties against employers to 1% a month from 2% a month.
