NYCIRB Announces $1,000 Renewal Fee for X-Mod Service

The New York Compensation Insurance Rating Board (NYCIRB) announced Monday it will charge a $1,000 fee to renew subscriptions to its experience-modification service for first-designated users, but has reduced renewals for additional company representatives to $325.The ratings board said the Web-based service allows access to experience-modification data by employer names and by their Rating Board File Numbers.The records, which include the employer's most recent experience modifier, also allow access to classifications, issue dates and effective dates.The NYCIRB notice includes a form that...
