Three administrative law judges scored in the double digits for unsatisfactory performances in an annual review conducted by the Oregon State Bar Workers’ Compensation Sector.
Only 13% of the 281 questionnaires were returned, with an even split in participants giving their opinions based on hearings and mediations.
The categories ALJs were ranked in included knowledge of workers’ compensation, judicial temperament, capability to handle hearings, diligence and efficiency and communication skills.
