Claimant Attorney Duped by Internet Scam Loses License for 1 Year

The Iowa Supreme Court last week suspended a Des Moines claimant attorney from practicing law for a minimum period of 12 months for having unwittingly involved himself and several of his clients in a Nigerian inheritance scam.The case was Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board v.
