EMC Begins Demolition as it Expands Downtown Des Moines Campus

EMC Insurance is demolishing three century-old brick buildings in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, as it start works on a new four-story office building, the Des Moines Register reported Friday. EMC expects to spend $12 to $20 million on its new building, which will include an employee gym, meeting spaces, computer, mechanical and printing equipment and storage, the newspaper said.
