A Southern California gardener was sentenced to 90 days in jail and placed on probation for three years after being convicted of fraud for not reporting outside income while receiving temporary total disability benefits, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Alberto Gonzalez, 56, on April 28 pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor counts of making fraudulent statements to obtain workers’ compensation benefits. He was sentenced the same day.
