Michigan's workers' compensation rate-maker has named insurance executive David C. Brueckman its new president and CEO, the company announced Thursday.
Brueckman will succeed Jon Heikkinen as the leader of Compensation Advisory Organization of Michigan and the Michigan Workers' Compensation Placement Facility (CAOM/MWCPF). Heikkinen is retiring this summer after 42 years at the company, which recommends workers' compensation rates and connects employers who have not been able to secure coverage through the voluntary market with workers' compensation insurance.
