Bills to Raise Cap on PTD Survivor Benefits Clear House and Senate

Bills to raise the benefits cap for survivors of permanently and totally disabled claimants have cleared both the Maryland state Senate and House of Delegates in unanimous votes. The House voted 140-0 on Saturday to approve House Bill 1294, by Del. Kriselda Valderrama, D-Prince George’s County. The bill has been assigned to the Senate Finance Committee.
