Sept. 19 Hearings Scheduled to Discuss Assessments

Oregon’s Workers’ Compensation Division will discuss proposed 2020 assessments during a Sept. 19 hearing in Salem. The division has not disclosed the proposed changes to the premium assessment or the Workers’ Benefit Fund assessment rates that will be discussed at the hearing. The premium assessment rate paid by all employers to fund work comp programs “will be announced by the middle of September,” the division said in a rulemaking notice.
