A Wheelersburg, Ohio, man has been ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution to the Bureau of Workers' Compensation after pleading guilty to fraud.
Rodney Whisman pleaded guilty to the first-degree misdemeanor charge Oct. 22 in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, according to a Friday blog post from the BWC's Special Investigations Department. The bureau deployed investigators after it received a tip that Whisman was working while receiving workers' compensation benefits.
