WCB Posts Certification Form With Corrected Assessment Figures

The Workers’ Compensation Board of Indiana posted to its website an updated Certification for Workers’ Compensation form with corrected numbers that should be used to calculate 2017 Second Injury Fund assessments. The revised form requires carriers to certify they calculated the 2017 assessment by dividing their direct written premium by 899,525,000. “Unfortunately, the zeros were initially omitted,” the board said in announcing the updated form.
