The Occupational Safety and Health Administration proposed penalties of $49,000 for an Illinois roofing company it says exposed workers to fall hazards.OSHA said Five Star Commercial Roofing Inc. did not provide adequate fall protections, such as guardrails, safety nets or personal fall arrest devices, for workers on a 29-foot-high roof.
