Maximum weekly benefits in Kansas will increase to $610 from $594 July 1, driven by an increase in the state's average weekly wage.
Under Kansas' workers' compensation law, the maximum weekly benefit is set at 75% of the state's average weekly wage, which rose to $813.98 in 2014 from $791.62 in 2013.
The minimum weekly benefit will remain at $25, while the minimum weekly survivor's benefit will be $407 as of July 1, the Division of Worker's Compensation said in a notice posted on its website.
