The California Division of Workers’ Compensation adopted new guidelines for treating workers with hip and groin injuries.
The division on Thursday posted an order to its website adopting the latest Hip and Groin Disorders Guidelines published by the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in April. The guidelines go into effect Oct. 7
Currently, the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule includes hip and groin recommendations that were published in 2011.
